The
Adult Legion - Membership |
The following list is of the
known membership in the Adult Legion as of 2986 (entries
followed by an asterisk denotes Reserve status). There
may be other members in the adult team that were not seen
in the chronicles; this is especially true of the teen
auxiliary in the Adult L.S.H., whose membership is
comprised of heroes under the age of 21 (Adventure Comics
No. 358 "The Legion Outpost"). There are other
heroes - some identified, some not - who are former members of the Adult Legion.

147/3, her first adult Legion appearance, when
she was almost sacrificed to save the Man of
Steel. Sometime before December
25th, 2973, Saturn Woman was awarded a plaque
from the Science Council in gratitude for using
her mental powers to drive off a space-monster
attack on Earth (Action

Legionnaires, and the only one of those with
children. He is married to Light Lady and they have a

commutes to Earth to take part in Legion
missions. Most likely he lives on the planet Winath with his family,
since Ayla hails from there.
In 2983,
he was hospitalized after being slugged by the
iron fist of Douglas Nolan, who has the same
super-power that his twin brother, Ferro Lad, had
(Adventure Comics No.

Current
Status: Proty II's membership in
the Legion is indicated by Saturn Woman when she
said "we fellow members of the Legion have
to help each other" (Superman
No. 165/1). She referred to
Proty II in that story as her "pet," so
it is possible that either the Legion of
Super-Pets still exists as a reserve branch of
the adult Legion or that, like the Substitute
Heroes, it merged into the main team due to
dwindling ranks. Appeared
In:
Superman
No. 165/1

Status: According to "The
Legion Outpost" letter column of Adventure
Comics No. 370, Ferro Lad's
twin brother, Douglas Nolan, is a "fully
accredited member." Douglas is the twin
brother of Ferro Lad and initially
hated the Legion, blaming them for Andrew's
death. Later, after seeing all the monuments they
erected honoring his brother, Douglas realized
that the Legion was not to blame. In 2983,
Douglas' old hatred flared up again, and he tried
to destroy the Legion, but only because he was
being hypnotically controlled by Saturn Queen of the Legion of
Super-Villains. After Saturn Woman freed
his mind, he soon joined the Legion.

Current Status: Evidence of Xola's
membership in the Adult Legion is given by the
adult Brainiac 5 in Superman
No. 213: "By the way, some of
our Legion buddies... Sun Man, White Witch and
Element Man... rounded up Mordru after they got
the vault to Earth." The White Witch's name
being sandwiched as it was between Sun Man's and
Element Man's strongly indicates that she became
a member of the Adult Legion of Super-Heroes. Appeared
In:
Superman
No. 213 (behind the scenes)
